HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION

        A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the Commission on Developmental Disabilities to study the need for a program allowing 60 day emergency placement in group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities.

    Whereas, Placement is a critical service for many individuals with developmental disabilities because a crisis may cause the failure of their living arrangement and an immediate need for relocation;

    Whereas, The safety, care, and well-being of persons with developmental disabilities receiving care in community settings are of the utmost importance; and

    Whereas, Crisis and emergency services must be identified and available to meet the specific needs of all individuals with developmental disabilities: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives
