HOUSE CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION


        A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION recognizing the Indiana Military Veterans' Hall of Fame.

    Whereas, Indiana owes a great debt to its veterans, past and present, for their dedicated service;

    Whereas, Indiana veterans honor our state and nation by their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families;

    Whereas, 75 Hoosiers, two of whom are still living, have been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in testimony to their courage;

    Whereas, The Indiana Military Veterans' Hall of Fame, a nonprofit organization, honors Indiana military veterans and works to educate Indiana citizens regarding the veterans' outstanding accomplishments;

    Whereas, The Indiana Military Veterans' Hall of Fame has established two categories for entry into the Hall of Fame - military accomplishments and honorably served; and

    Whereas, Indiana veterans deserve special recognition for all they have given to keep us free: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives

of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana,

the Senate concurring:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly recognizes the need for the Indiana Military Veterans' Hall of Fame to honor our brave

veterans both living and dead.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a copy of this resolution to the Indiana Military Veterans' Hall of Fame.
