    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring the Clermont Christian Church and Pam Sheads in continuing their efforts with the Robey Elementary Back-to-School Bash .

     Whereas, The members of the Clermont Christian Church strongly believe that all people should connect to, grow with, and serve, both God and others;

    Whereas, The Clermont Christian Church community has benefitted from a fantastic group of Church leaders that have furthered the Clermont Christian Church's message that the Church is a place to connect, grow, and serve;

    Whereas, Jim Burks, the Senior Minister, has ministered the members of the Clermont Christian Church since 2003 in conjunction with church leadership including Jason Smith, Associate Minister, and all Church elders including Rusty King, Bob Lear, Max Reynolds, Jim Sheads, and Sam Taylor;

    Whereas, Pam Sheads, Brenda Lear, and all the other volunteers from the Clermont Christian Church have put their beliefs into action with their dedicated support of the Back-to-School Bash which is a community partnership of the Clermont Christian Church & Robey Elementary School;

     Whereas, The Back-to-School Bash on July 28, 2012 provided the families of Clermont much-needed school supplies including backpacks, stationary, and writing utensils. In addition, the Back-to-School Bash offered the same families essential services including medical and dental screening;

    Whereas, the Clermont Christian Church has worked with the Robey Elementary School for four consecutive years; and

     Whereas, Providing students with the necessary means to achieve their potential in the classroom helps establish the foundation for future successes : Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate     of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives     concurring:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly honors the Clermont Christian Church and Pam Sheads in continuing their efforts with the Robey Elementary Back-to-School Bash.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Clermont Christian Church and Pam Sheads.
