Vietnam Veterans Day".
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 1. In recognition of March 29, 1973, as the day the last
American troops left South Vietnam, ending nearly a decade of
American military intervention in that country, and in recognition
of the contributions and sacrifices of the American troops who
served in Vietnam, the legislature declares that March 29 of each
year shall be known as "Recognize Vietnam Veterans Day".
