by amending section 14a of chapter XVII (MCL 777.14a), as amended by 2010 PA 378.

CHAPTER XVII
Sec. 14a. This chapter applies to the following felonies enumerated in chapters 400 to 407 408 of the Michigan Compiled Laws:

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days after the date it is enacted into law.
Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 479 of the 100th Legislature is enacted into law.
