A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled
"The code of criminal procedure,"
(MCL 760.1 to 777.69) by adding section 21d to chapter VIII.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
CHAPTER VIII
Sec. 21d. It is an affirmative defense in a prosecution for a
violation of section 145c of the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328,
MCL 750.145c, or for any violation of chapter LXVII of the Michigan
penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.448 to 750.462, that the defendant
engaged in the proscribed conduct only because of his or her status
as a victim of a violation of chapter LXVIIA of the Michigan penal
code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.462a to 750.462j.
