1.2relating to tobacco taxation; rates of taxation; repealing changes to the cigarette
1.3and tobacco products excise tax enacted in the 2013 regular session.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. REPEAL OF TOBACCO EXCISE TAX CHANGES ENACTED IN
1.62013 REGULAR SESSION; REVISOR'S INSTRUCTION.
1.7All changes made to Minnesota Statutes in the following sections of Laws 2013,
1.8chapter 143, article 5, are void and of no effect, and the language in the form it existed
1.9prior to passage of that law is revived: Laws 2013, chapter 143, article 5, sections 6, 9, 10,
1.1012, 14, 16, 17, 19, and 20. Laws 2013, chapter 143, article 5, sections 7, 8, 11, 13, 15,
1.1125, 26, and 27, are repealed. Laws 2013, chapter 143, article 5, section 28, is repealed,
1.12and the language of Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.725 and 256.9658, is revived. The
1.13revisor of statutes shall implement these changes in Minnesota Statutes 2013 Supplement.
1.14These changes are effective October 1, 2013.
