1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. Laws 2008, chapter 179, section 21, subdivision 15, as amended by Laws
1.72008, chapter 365, section 22, and Laws 2008, chapter 370, section 6, is amended to read:

Subd. 15. St. Cloud State University - National Hockey Center; HEAPR

6,500,000

1.10To the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota
1.11State Colleges and Universities to predesign,
1.12design, construct, furnish, and equip the
1.13renovation of and addition to the National
1.14Hockey Center or for higher education asset
1.15preservation and replacement (HEAPR)
1.16pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section
1.17135A.046, at St. Cloud State University or
1.18systemwide. The board may use university
1.19and nonstate money for the remainder of
1.20the cost of the construction of the National
1.21Hockey Center project. Notwithstanding
1.22Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642, the
1.23bond authorization and appropriation of bond
1.24proceeds in this subdivision are available
2.1until June 30, 2016. The debt service
2.2requirement under subdivision 31 shall be
2.3reduced to the extent that this appropriation
2.4is used for HEAPR.
2.5EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
