If the national assessment under the Soybean Promotion, Research and Consumer Information Act of 1990 is reduced to less than 0.5% or ceases to be effective, then, for so long as such national assessment is so reduced or as no such assessment is made, the state fee imposed and levied shall be 0.5% of the net market price of soybeans grown within the state less any national assessment collected and remitted by the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council to the United Soybean Board.
This act is similar to a provision in the truly agreed CCS/SS/SCS/HCS/HB 1720 (2022), the perfected HB 2387 (2022), a provision in SCS/SB 705 (2022), and a provision in SB 750 (2022).
