Summary
An Act To Amend Section 83-9-3, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Prohibit The Issuance Of Health Insurance Policies That Restrict An Insurer From Assigning Benefits To A Health Care Provider; To Amend Section 83-9-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If An Insured Provides An Insurer With Written Directions That The Benefits Provided By A Health Insurance Policy Be Paid To A Health Care Provider Rendering Services, Then The Insurer Shall Pay Directly The Health Care Provider; And For Related Purposes.
