STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to the power of towns to adopt bylaws and ordinances.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Powers and Duties of Towns; Power to Make Bylaws; Purposes. Amend RSA 31:39 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
IV. In addition to the powers granted in paragraphs I through III, towns may adopt bylaws or ordinances for any purpose authorized for cities under RSA 47:17.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
