STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT relative to New Hampshire domestic liquor and wines.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Liquor Commission; Duties. Amend RSA 176:3, I to read as follows:

I. Optimize the profitability of the commission, with the exception of special shelving under RSA 177:3, IV.

2 New Hampshire Products; Shelving. Amend RSA 176:12 to read as follows:

176:12 New Hampshire Products. The commission, wherever feasible, shall purchase and list for sale in all state stores the domestic liquor and wines manufactured or bottled in this state by a manufacturer. The commission shall decide which wines, under RSA 177:3, IV, shall be placed on special shelving at the entrance to the store, up to 4 per winery, and shall order and maintain the special shelving in a timely manner using only New Hampshire domestic liquor and wines.

3 New Paragraph; Store Plan; Shelving. Amend RSA 177:3 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

IV. Placement of domestic liquor and wine shelving at the entrance to the store, exclusively for New Hampshire products, in stores in accordance with RSA 176:12.

4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 90 days after its passage.
