The lyrics of "Sweet, Sweet New Jersey" are as follows:
Sweet, Sweet New Jersey,
How you amaze me,
With Garden State scenery,
I can't believe my eyes.
CHORUS:
Sweet, Sweet New Jersey,
How you inspire me,
With your amazing nature,
Sweet New Jersey.
Goldfinches chirp their sound,
Violets grow all around,
Honeybees make honey,
In red oak trees.
CHORUS
Blueberries grow so sweet,
They are my favorite treat,
Beautiful knobbed whelk is found near the brook trout.
CHORUS
Liberty and prosperity,
How they inspire me to believe,
Sweet, Sweet New Jersey,
How you inspire me,
With your amazing beauty,
You are my state.
