BROOK-KRASNY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environ- mental Conservation AN ACT authorizing New York city to construct a bike path THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any conflicting provisions of article 34 of 2 the environmental conservation law to the contrary, New York city shall 3 have authority to construct a bike path and/or exercise equipment, 4 between Brighton 14th street and Sea Gate to the west, to lie between 5 the Riegelmann Boardwalk and the water, provided, however, that the bike 6 path shall be within 250 feet of the Riegelmann Boardwalk. 7 S 2.
