Subdivision 6 of section 162 of the state finance law is 2 amended by adding a new paragraph g to read as follows: 3 g. For the purposes of this subdivision only, "prevailing market 4 price" shall mean the average price at which vendors of the same or 5 similar product or service regularly engaged in the business of selling 6 such product or service offers to sell such product or service under 7 similar terms in the same market. 8 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed- 9 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
