HANNON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Children and Families AN ACT to amend chapter 942 of the laws of 1983 and chapter 541 of the laws of 1984, relating to foster family care demonstration programs, and to amend chapter 256 of the laws of 1985, amending the social services law and other laws relating to foster family care demon- stration programs, in relation to extending the expirations thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 942 of the laws of 1983, relating to 2 foster family care demonstration programs, as amended by section 40 of 3 part B of chapter 58 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows: 4 S 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December 5 31, [2013] 2017. 6 S 2. Section 3 of chapter 541 of the laws of 1984, relating to foster 7 family care demonstration programs, as amended by section 41 of part B 8 of chapter 58 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows: 9 S 3. This section and subdivision two of section two of this act shall 10 take effect immediately and the remaining provisions of this act shall 11 take effect on the one hundred twentieth day next thereafter. This act 12 shall expire December 31, [2013] 2017. 13 S 3. Section 6 of chapter 256 of the laws of 1985, amending the social 14 services law and other laws relating to foster family care demonstration 15 programs, as amended by section 42 of part B of chapter 58 of the laws 16 of 2009, is amended to read as follows: 17 S 6. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December 18 31, [2013] 2017 and upon such date the provisions of this act shall be 19 deemed to be repealed. 20 S 4.
