        Introduced  by  Sen.  BAILEY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Crime Victims,  Crime  and
          Correction
        AN  ACT to amend the correction law, in relation to significant program-
          matic accomplishment for limited credit time  allowances  for  certain
          inmates
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subparagraph (ii) of paragraph  (c)  of  subdivision  1  of
     2  section  803-b  of the correction law, as amended by section 1 of part E
     3  of chapter 55 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (ii) obtains  [a  masters  of  professional  studies]  an  associate's
     5  degree, bachelor's degree or master's degree; or
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.
