| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Fairlawn Junior High School cheerleading squad on winning the championship in its division at the 2013 Midwest Cheer and Dance National Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, These talented athletes are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently in the squad's impressive performance at the Midwest Cheer and Dance National Competition. To their credit, members Beth Weigandt, Grace Hageman, Alex Osbourne, Brittney Morris, Ciera Driskell, Tristan Heffner, Carrie Nuss, and Chelsie Brautigam could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace; and |
| WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coach, Kambra Heffner, the vivacious members of the Fairlawn Junior High School cheerleading squad have trained tirelessly in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this sport has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic school spirit and love of sports has led the members of the Fairlawn Junior High School cheerleading squad to take part in many activities, and they have served as an inspiration to their peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their coach, their school, and the State of Ohio, and they are truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Fairlawn Junior High School cheerleading squad for exemplary achievement and salute them as some of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Fairlawn Junior High School cheerleading squad. |
