Summary

As introduced, defines "labor representative" for purposes of workers' compensation law; specifies that the person representing an employee in mediation for a workers' compensation claim may be a labor representative; requires the department of labor and workforce development to promulgate rules to allow a labor representative to participate with a party engaged in mediation or another form of alternative dispute resolution for a workers' compensation claim. - Amends TCA Title 4 and Title 50.
