The fiscal implications of the bill cannot be determined because the extent to which the exemption provided by the bill would impact the state court system is unknown.

The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to exempt a legal action authorized by, or to enforce any provision of, the Election Code, from the provisions of Chapter 27 of that Code.
