A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the issuance of U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge |
|
|
specialty license plates. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, |
|
|
is amended by adding Section 504.319 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 504.319. COMBAT INFANTRYMAN BADGE RECIPIENTS. The |
|
|
department shall issue specialty license plates for persons who |
|
|
have received the U.S. Army Combat Infantryman Badge. The license |
|
|
plates must include: |
|
|
(1) the likeness of a Combat Infantryman Badge |
|
|
authorized by the Department of the Army; and |
|
|
(2) the words "Combat Infantryman Badge." |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
