	A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
	AN ACT
	relating to requirements for regular deputy voter registrars.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
	SECTION 1.  Section 12.006, Election Code, is amended by
	adding Subsection (g) to read as follows:
	(g)  On receipt of a completed registration application, a
	regular deputy registrar shall prepare a receipt in the same manner
	required under Section 13.040.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
