A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the panel of experts appointed to advise the Texas |
|
|
Windstorm Insurance Association. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 2210.578(f), Insurance Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(f) After consideration of the recommendations made by the |
|
|
panel under Subsection (e), the commissioner shall by rule |
|
|
establish publish guidelines that the association will use to |
|
|
settle claims. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
