A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the appropriation of money from the general revenue |
|
|
fund to the Texas Water Development Board to provide a grant to the |
|
|
Angelina and Neches River Authority to be used by the authority for |
|
|
the purpose of obtaining preconstruction permits or other |
|
|
authorizations for the proposed Lake Columbia reservoir project. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. The amount of $13 million is appropriated from |
|
|
the general revenue fund to the Texas Water Development Board to be |
|
|
used by the board during the state fiscal biennium beginning |
|
|
September 1, 2013, to provide a grant to the Angelina and Neches |
|
|
River Authority to be used by the authority for the purpose of |
|
|
obtaining any permits or other authorizations needed for the |
|
|
construction of the proposed Lake Columbia reservoir project |
|
|
authorized by Permit to Appropriate State Water No. 4228 |
|
|
(Application No. 4537). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
