R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lance Lacy of San Angelo has been named the 2013 |
|
|
REALTOR of the Year by the Texas Association of REALTORS; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The most prestigious award presented by the |
|
|
organization, the REALTOR of the Year is given to a member who has |
|
|
exemplified the highest level of dedication to real estate over the |
|
|
past decade and has also made significant contributions to the |
|
|
industry through involvement in the local, state, and national |
|
|
associations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Widely respected by his peers, Mr. Lacy has served |
|
|
on more than 50 REALTORS association committees, subcommittees, and |
|
|
task forces since 1988; he has been the president of the San Angelo |
|
|
Association of REALTORS, chair of the Texas Association of |
|
|
REALTORS, and regional vice president of the National Association |
|
|
of REALTORS; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Despite his busy professional life, Mr. Lacy has |
|
|
given generously of his time and talents to a number of worthy |
|
|
causes, including the American Cancer Society, Rotary Club, and |
|
|
Angelo State University Alumni Board; he is also a charter member |
|
|
and president of the local Lions Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his skill, dedication, and commitment to |
|
|
excellence, Lance Lacy has become known as a leader in his |
|
|
profession and has made significant contributions to the community |
|
|
at large; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lance Lacy on his selection as the |
|
|
2013 REALTOR of the Year by the Texas Association of REALTORS and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and |
|
|
happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Lacy as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
