R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Chase Nalley was sworn in as a deputy of the Tyler |
|
County Sheriff's Office on March 6, 2017; and |
|
WHEREAS, A Tyler County native, Chase Nalley graduated from |
|
Woodville High School in 2005 and subsequently earned a bachelor's |
|
degree in government and political science from Sam Houston State |
|
University in 2010; he later returned to the county to pursue a |
|
career in law enforcement, and he completed the local police |
|
academy in December 2016; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sworn in by Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Deputy Nalley |
|
is now set to uphold his solemn oath to advance the worthwhile |
|
mission of the sheriff's office, and his efforts are sure to be of |
|
great benefit to his fellow citizens; and |
|
WHEREAS, Chase Nalley has demonstrated an exceptional |
|
commitment to protecting the safety and welfare of the public, and |
|
he is indeed deserving of recognition as he takes on the challenges |
|
and opportunities of his new position; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Chase Nalley on being sworn in as a |
|
deputy of the Tyler County Sheriff's Office and extend to him |
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Deputy Nalley as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
