| WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories | ||
| of Donald David Naiser of San Antonio, who passed away on March 31, | ||
| 2022, at the age of 79; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The son of Joseph and Viola Naiser, Donald Naiser | ||
| was born in El Campo on October 17, 1942, and he grew up with the | ||
| companionship of two brothers, Fred and Joe Eddie; he earned a | ||
| degree in agricultural engineering from Texas A&M University; and | ||
| WHEREAS, After working for Central Power and Light and | ||
| Drymalla Construction, Mr. Naiser joined Wharton County Electric | ||
| Cooperative; over the course of his 23-year career with that | ||
| company, he served as general manager and chief executive officer | ||
| before retiring in 2010; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Naiser enjoyed the love | ||
| and support of his wife, Barbara, with whom he shared a rewarding | ||
| marriage that spanned more than five and a half decades; he took | ||
| great pride in their sons, Derek, Brian, Dodd, and Marcus, and over | ||
| the years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family 10 | ||
| grandchildren; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Donald Naiser lived a life that was rich in personal | ||
| and professional achievements, and he will forever be remembered | ||
| with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Donald David Naiser | ||
| and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his | ||
| wife, Barbara Kutach Naiser; to his sons, Derek Naiser and his wife, | ||
| Susan, Brian Naiser and his wife, Kristine, Dodd Naiser and his | ||
| wife, Katerina, and Marcus Naiser and his wife, Angela; to his | ||
| grandchildren, Katie, Cassie, Clay, Logan, Brooke, Elizabeth, | ||
| Isabella, Brandt, Carson, and Davis; and to his other relatives and | ||
| many friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Donald | ||
| Naiser. | ||
