WHEREAS, Larson Crank has ably served his fellow Texans as an | ||
intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham | ||
during the 88th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Crank has provided | ||
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks, including | ||
conducting legislative research and handling constituent | ||
correspondence; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the | ||
field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative | ||
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Cameron and Leigh Ann Crank, Mr. Crank is | ||
currently a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where he | ||
is working toward a bachelor's degree in history and government | ||
with a minor in business and public policy; he is actively involved | ||
with the Liberal Arts Honors Program at UT, as well as the Texas | ||
Economics Journal, the Texas Orator, the Texas Undergraduate | ||
Research Journal, and the Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity; furthermore, | ||
he has earned placement on the dean's honor list and has been | ||
recognized as a Thomas M. Keel Fund scholar and an R. J. Kidd | ||
Memorial scholar; in the future, he plans to attend law school and | ||
specialize in public policy; and | ||
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is | ||
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Larson Crank for his service as a | ||
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charles | ||
Cunningham and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Crank as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
