R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Senior Officer Brandon Cordell was named the 2014 |
|
|
Field Training Officer of the Year by the Corpus Christi Police |
|
|
Department in recognition of his outstanding service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Senior Officer Cordell was selected for this honor |
|
|
by CCPD recruits, who gave him high marks for the valuable mentoring |
|
|
and detailed evaluations he provided throughout the training |
|
|
program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This dedicated public servant has earned the respect |
|
|
and admiration of his fellow officers by demonstrating integrity, a |
|
|
strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork in each of his |
|
|
duties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Senior Officer Cordell has proven himself to be an |
|
|
exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with |
|
|
pride on the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare |
|
|
of the citizens of Corpus Christi; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Senior Officer Brandon Cordell on |
|
|
being named the Corpus Christi Police Department's 2014 Field |
|
|
Training Officer of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Senior Officer Cordell as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
