R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ralph Fite of Houston has served with distinction as |
|
|
Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 499 in Harris County, |
|
|
making lasting contributions to the people of the county and to the |
|
|
election process; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of the |
|
|
party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better |
|
|
state and nation for our families and children based on traditional |
|
|
values and core conservative principles; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the |
|
|
work of these dedicated community leaders helps to build a |
|
|
prosperous state with citizens who are prepared to meet the |
|
|
challenges of the future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to |
|
|
recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and |
|
|
talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals such |
|
|
as limiting government power, strengthening and safeguarding |
|
|
children and families, and affirming the importance of personal |
|
|
responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Ralph Fite for serving as Republican |
|
|
Party chair of Precinct 499 in Harris County and extend to this |
|
|
public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Fite as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
