R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Micah Hughes, a sixth grade student at |
|
|
Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University |
|
|
Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school |
|
|
year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Participating in the Art Smart competition, Micah |
|
|
earned second place honors, and her accomplishment is a source of |
|
|
great pride to her family and to her fellow students at her school; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued her goals with |
|
|
skill and dedication, and she may indeed look forward to a future |
|
|
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Micah Hughes on her success in UIL |
|
|
academic competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued achievement; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Hughes as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
