R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John Greer has served with distinction as Republican |
|
|
Party precinct chair of Precinct 2 in Collin County; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Integral to the success of their party's mission, |
|
|
precinct chairs work to elect public servants who will build a |
|
|
better state and nation for current and future generations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Greer has devoted much time and energy to |
|
|
providing valuable information to prospective voters, to |
|
|
encouraging residents to turn out for elections, and to conducting |
|
|
important party business, and in so doing, has made lasting |
|
|
contributions to Collin County; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, |
|
|
citizens must exercise their right to vote, and the efforts of |
|
|
precinct chairs to inspire voters to support their parties' |
|
|
candidates are part of a proud and vital American tradition; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend John Greer for |
|
|
serving as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 2 in Collin |
|
|
County and extend to this dedicated community leader sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Greer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
