WHEREAS, Warren Landrum has served with distinction as | ||
Democratic Party precinct chair of Precinct 2644 in Tarrant County; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of their | ||
party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better | ||
state and nation for current and future generations; and | ||
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, | ||
citizens must exercise their right to vote, and precinct chairs | ||
play an important role in the election process; their efforts to | ||
inspire voters to support their parties' candidates are part of a | ||
proud and vital tradition in our state and nation; and | ||
WHEREAS, It is most appropriate that we take this opportunity | ||
to recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time and energy | ||
toward promoting the Democratic Party goals of representing the | ||
interests of working families, fighting for equal opportunities, | ||
and advancing a more inclusive society; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Warren Landrum for serving as Democratic | ||
Party precinct chair of Precinct 2644 in House District 101 in | ||
Tarrant County and extend to this dedicated community leader | ||
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Landrum as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
