R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Noel and Frances Marie Bryant of |
|
|
Kerrville celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on June 4, |
|
|
2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After meeting at McMurry University in Abilene, Mr. |
|
|
and Mrs. Bryant were united in matrimony in 1939; through the years, |
|
|
they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even |
|
|
richer with the addition of three children, six grandchildren, and |
|
|
eight great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Bryant was a minister for many years in North |
|
|
Texas; Mrs. Bryant taught high school English and drama; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
seven decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Noel and Frances Marie Bryant on |
|
|
their 71st wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bryant as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
