R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Women's History Month is held in March to celebrate |
|
|
the myriad contributions made by women in every field and facet of |
|
|
our society, and this observance provides a fitting opportunity to |
|
|
recognize the exemplary service of Irazema Solis Rojas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Rojas has distinguished herself through her |
|
|
dedicated efforts as chief technical officer for El Paso Water, and |
|
|
the skill and professionalism she has demonstrated in this |
|
|
important role have earned her the respect and admiration of her |
|
|
fellow Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to her duties, Ms. Rojas |
|
|
greatly benefits the customers she serves, and her achievements |
|
|
make her a worthy role model for other women in public utility |
|
|
administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
|
and engaged leaders like Irazema Solis Rojas, and she may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in her contributions and in the inspiring example |
|
|
she has set for others; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Irazema Solis Rojas for her service as |
|
|
chief technical officer for El Paso Water and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rojas as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
