SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 26
	WHEREAS, Cristian Andrew-Rene Mattoon of Troop 782 in
	DeSoto is being honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining
	the rank of Eagle Scout; and
	WHEREAS, Cristian planned, developed, and conducted a
	service project that has benefited his community, and he is
	recognized as an outstanding leader; his project involved
	replacing a damaged fence and adding two storage areas to the
	Cedar Hill Food Pantry, greatly enhancing the organization's
	ability to serve its clients; and
	WHEREAS, Cristian has brought great honor to himself in
	earning the coveted Eagle Badge, and his family, his troop, his
	community, and his state are justly proud of his great
	accomplishment; and
	WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
	promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of
	Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
	reaching Eagle Scout; and
	WHEREAS, Cristian has become one of the select few who have
	earned this prestigious honor, and he is a shining example to the
	young people of Texas; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
	Legislature, hereby congratulate Cristian Andrew-Rene Mattoon on
	becoming an Eagle Scout and commend him on this great
	achievement; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
	Eagle Scout Mattoon as an expression of high regard from the
	Texas Senate.
