SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 94

Yancie J. Tolbert II |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the |
|
citizens of Baytown in mourning the loss of Yancie J. Tolbert II, |
|
who died May 17, 2013, at the age of 34; and |
|
WHEREAS, Yancie Tolbert was an exemplary gentleman who |
|
never met a stranger and was beloved by all who knew him; and |
|
WHEREAS, Yancie was born August 20, 1978, in Tucson, |
|
Arizona; he grew up in Colstrip, Montana, and moved to Texas in |
|
1998; he was married to his wife, Tiffany, for 13 years, and the |
|
couple was blessed with two children, Tommy and Cameron; and |
|
WHEREAS, He was a great conversationalist, and he took much |
|
pleasure in spending time with his friends and family; he was an |
|
avid motorcyclist and a fan of mixed martial arts, football, |
|
music, and movies; devoted to his family, he loved coaching his |
|
son's sports teams and talking with his young daughter; and |
|
WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he |
|
gave unselfishly to others, and his charismatic personality, his |
|
devotion to his extended family, and his enthusiasm for living |
|
each day to the fullest will not be forgotten; and |
|
WHEREAS, Yancie Tolbert was a source of strength and joy to |
|
those who were privileged to share in his life, and he leaves |
|
behind memories that will be treasured forever by his family and |
|
countless friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd |
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere |
|
condolences to the bereaved family of Yancie J. Tolbert II; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of Yancie Tolbert. |
