Summary
Directs the Consumer Product Safety Commission to award grants to states and tribal organizations to install carbon monoxide alarms in (1) the homes of low-income families and older adults, (2) facilities that commonly serve children or older adults, and (3) student-housing units at public universities. Such carbon monoxide alarms must be compliant with the specified standard of the National Fire Protection Association, the International Fire Code, or the International Residential Code.
