WHEREAS, Anthony Stewart Viventi of Fredericksburg, a patriotic veteran and a hardworking federal employee, died on February 5, 2024; and
WHEREAS, a native of Henderson County, Kentucky, Anthony "Tony" Stewart Viventi served the nation for 26 years as a member of the United States Air Force and earned respect for his unwavering dedication to duty; and
WHEREAS, after his honorable military service, Tony Viventi joined the U.S. Department of Justice and worked as a logistics management specialist in Quantico; and
WHEREAS, Tony Viventi brought joy into the lives of others through his kindness, generosity, and inspirational devotion to his family, community, and country; and
WHEREAS, Tony Viventi will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Cristina; his children, Bethany and Matthew; his stepchildren, Garrett and Sydney; his parents, Tresia and Dean; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Anthony Stewart Viventi, a respected member of the Fredericksburg community; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Anthony Stewart Viventi as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
