WHEREAS, Terry Edward Winkle, an accomplished dairy farmer and beloved son, husband, father, and member of the Riner community, died on November 2, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Terry Winkle was the owner of Winkles Dairy Farm in Riner, where he worked tirelessly throughout the year to care for his animals and produce exceptionally high-quality milk and other products; and
WHEREAS, guided throughout his life by his faith, Terry Winkle enjoyed worship and fellowship with his community as a member of Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg; and
WHEREAS, Terry Winkle will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Brenda; his children, Lee and Melissa, and their families; his mother, Ruby; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Terry Edward Winkle, a cherished member of the Riner community whose light brightened countless lives; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Terry Edward Winkle as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for his memory.
