Memorandum

Please identify any areas of vagueness, technical defects, reasons a bill would not have a fiscal impact, and/or any special issues not captured elsewhere on this form. It is the belief of the agency that language found at page 9, line 126, in subdivision §6C-2-3(p)(1), should read "workers' compensation" rather than "worker compensation". The language found in this subdivision may also have the unintended consequence of significantly delaying the process for employees on military leave that may be able to participate in a hearing remotely. No other areas of vagueness, technical defects or special issues were identified.
