Summary

As introduced Bill 24-53 would expand the District Government employee bereavement leave benefit. In addition to annual leave, sick leave, disability benefits, and leave donations, employees would be eligible for an additional two weeks of paid leave following the death of a minor child, a late-term miscarriage, or stillbirth.
