Summary
As introduced Bill 25-746 would clarify section 47-1045 of the D.C. Code – which has granted a property tax abatement to the lots at 1000 U Street NW since 1998. It would also give limited grantmaking authority for the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, to support activation of the corner commercial space at 1000 U Street NW.
