FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Specifies that if a refund of unearned premium is mailed separately from a notice of cancellation, the refund must be mailed at least 45 days before the effective date of cancellation, or 10 days before in cases of nonpayment.
2. Specifies the timeframes that the return of any unearned premium must follow if the premium on a cancelled policy has been financed, subject to statutory specifications.
