FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

Clarifies it is the intent of S.B. 1095 to allow ASRS members who become employed with a community college district the ability to opt into an optional retirement program (ORP), although existing contributions of retired members who opt in shall remain in ASRS.
