FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

• Removes language authorizing the Attorney General to recover public monies from fraudulent procurement contracts for school district purchases below the State Board of Education’s sealed bid threshold.  
• Removes the class 4 felony classification for a person who intentionally or knowingly contracts in violation of school district procurement code below the sealed bid threshold.
