AN ACT
repealing section 41-5001, Arizona Revised Statutes; amending title 41, chapter 50, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding a new section 41-5001; relating to valid identification.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Repeal
Section 41-5001, Arizona Revised Statutes, is repealed.
Sec. 2. Title 41, chapter 50, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section 41-5001, to read:
41-5001. Valid identification; consular identification cards
This state or a political subdivision of this state may accept a consular identification card that is issued by a foreign government as a valid form of identification.
