AN ACT
appropriating monies to the department of administration.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of administration; Taylor-Snowflake fire and medical department
The sum of $2,090,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of administration to distribute to the Taylor-Snowflake fire and medical department in the following amounts for the following purposes:
1. $350,000 to renovate the old fire department building and to purchase equipment to convert the building to a public safety fitness facility for firefighters and law enforcement personnel.
2. $240,000 to purchase and install station alerting equipment, including associated communication hardware and software, for fire stations.
3. $300,000 to purchase a type 2 tactical water tender for wildland firefighting.
4. $700,000 to purchase a type 3 fire engine for wildland firefighting.
5. $500,000 to purchase a structure for fire and emergency medical response in the area east of Snowflake.
