AN ACT
appropriating monies to the Arizona commerce authority.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Arizona commerce authority; appropriations; broadband grants; fiscal years 2020‑2021, 2021‑2022 and 2022-2023; reports; exemption
A. The sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each of fiscal years 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 to the Arizona commerce authority to provide broadband grants. The Arizona commerce authority shall report to the joint legislative budget committee on or before January 31, 2021, January 31, 2022 and January 31, 2023 on its plan for distributing these grants.
B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to the lapsing of appropriations.
