AN ACT
repealing section 15‑249.08, Arizona Revised Statutes; appropriating monies; relating to school finance.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Repeal
Section 15-249.08, Arizona Revised Statutes, is repealed.
Sec. 2. Appropriation; superintendent of public instruction; district additional assistance; classroom technology; instructional materials; tutoring support; additional classroom aides
In addition to any other appropriations made to the superintendent of public instruction in fiscal year 2018‑2019, the sum of $37,600,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2018‑2019 to the superintendent of public instruction. This amount is a onetime increase in district additional assistance as prescribed in title 15, chapter 9, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, and shall be used for classroom technology, instructional materials, tutoring support and additional classroom aides.
